Gauravi Merchant, PT, Executive Director

Gauravi Merchant brings more than ten years of clinical experience and passion to provide proper quality care. She believes at PCPT, patients should feel the ultimate experience of healing and find a place that they can count on.

Gauravi graduated from School of Physiotherapy, Gujarat University, India in 1997. There, She treated rare conditions like polio, burns, muscular dystrophy and other orthopedic and neurological problems. She moved to Los Angeles in 1999 and worked as a physical therapist at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center and Facey Medical Group (FMG). During her tenure, she developed "Fall Prevention and Improve Balance" program and taught Back Care Classes.

A strong believer in education, Gauravi has completed wide range of continuing education courses in physical therapy disciplines. She also completed coursework for Masters in Public Administration at California State University, Northridge.

Doug Harden, PTA

Doug Harden, PTA, is a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant and fitness trainer. In 1992 he graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Physical Therapy Assistant Degree. Since then he has been working in clinical setting where he combines his fitness training with rehabilitation acumen for wide variety of conditions. Doug continues to broaden his knowledge by attending many seminars and continued education classes. Some of his special skills are facilitating exercises for trunk stabilization, joint mobilizations, myofascial release, balance rehabilitation, postural training and gait training. He enjoys a variety of outdoor sport and he is a golfer since a very young age.
